Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool and silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Important Notes

Due to being handwoven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a handwoven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. As such, there may be a unique scent from the dyes used to color the wool.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
