Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who are nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool to create long-pile rugs that are deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant-to-the-touch fibers contain a lot of oil to help regulate body temperature.
These Gabbeh rugs, dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven one by one by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.

Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.

Important Notes

Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a distinctive odor from the dyes used on the wool.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
