Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai nomads who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh Zagros Mountains environment, and a soft, pleasant texture with high oil content to effectively regulate body temperature.
The Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads, meticulously hand-knotting each strand after dyeing the wool with natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture.

Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the nap of the rug.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel or similar cloth, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
