Characteristics of Hand-Woven Persian Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs woven by the Qashqai nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool and deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature, making it soft and pleasant to the touch.
The Gabbeh, woven piece by piece by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, is characterized by its plush and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool.
The odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pompoms can be removed before shipping

The pompoms on the corners or in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pompoms does not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
