Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomadic tribe of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes, and are deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture, rich in natural oils, allows for effective temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh, woven meticulously by hand by Iranian nomads using this naturally dyed wool, is characterized by its plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, indicating their exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with drastic temperature changes between day and night, Gabbeh are also characterized by their warmth in winter and their breathability in summer, preventing heat buildup.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please consider these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may be present.
The scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping

The pom-poms attached to the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipment.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
