The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for surviving the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture is rich in oil to effectively regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs, made by nomads in Iran who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-weave each strand, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, demonstrating their excellent durability.
Born from a climate with large temperature fluctuations between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and cool in summer.
