Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh

The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant feel containing a lot of oil for effective temperature regulation.
These Gabbeh, made by nomads in Iran who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-weave each strand, are characterized by their plush and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting superior durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.
And above all, there's their artistry. Gabbeh, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature animal and plant designs, making each one a unique, one-of-a-kind original.

Daily Care
Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, carefully wipe with water to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape, pattern distortion, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the dyes used on the wool may occur.
The scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
