Gabbeh are long-pile rugs, rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai nomads who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. Daily Care

Vacuum or sweep to remove dirt and dust along the nap.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
