Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes, and are deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and has a soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content to regulate body temperature effectively.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dye variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used for the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
