Gabbeh are hand-woven, long-pile rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically inhabit the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile. For気になる汚れが気になる場合：中性洗剤（毛・絹用）を水で薄め、かたく絞ったタオル等で表面を優しく拭いてください。その後丁寧に水拭きして、洗剤を拭きとってから風通しの良い日陰で乾かしてください。 For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.

Precautions

Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and dyeing variations. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving. Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. As such, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool. The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
