This is a hand-woven Persian silk rug, made in Iran (Persia).
It's a classic hand-woven Persian rug, perfect for placing in a living room or in front of a sofa. It's approximately 1.5 tatami mats in size, neither too big nor too small, making it easy to match with your room's interior and ideal for placing under a dining table.
Tranj (Medallion) Pattern
The main feature of the popular and traditional Tranj pattern is a circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread around it, creating a beautiful design. Tranj pattern rugs suit any room, and are especially recommended for placing in front of a living room sofa or as a centerpiece of a room.

Characteristics of the Origin (Qom)
Qom is a famous region for silk rugs, so much so that when you think of silk rugs, Qom comes to mind. They produce the finest rugs in Iran. Qom is located in northern Iran. They use silk and very high-quality, soft wool. The designs are also very diverse. Various colors are used very skillfully, with pastel colors, soft colors, and ivory being particularly common. Most of these artistic-level rugs bear the workshop's signature.
What are Persian Rugs?
Persian rugs are rugs woven in Iran. They have a long history and are famous for their beauty and durability, lasting for generations. They are one of the most outstanding artistic crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in design and materials used depending on the region, Iran has a wide variety of rugs. There is everything from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs have a unique appeal. By incorporating a Persian rug with its unique charm, one-of-a-kind in the world, into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum any dust from the surface along the direction of the pile. If you spill a drink, first absorb the liquid with something highly absorbent (such as kitchen paper or tissue). Then, place a dry towel under the rug, and using water and a neutral detergent, gently dab the stain with a tightly wrung towel. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and dry it in a well-ventilated area.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape, weaving, and dyeing. Please enjoy these as part of the unique charm of a hand-woven piece.
