Most of these rugs are works of art with the workshop's signature.
What is a Persian rug?
A Persian rug is a carpet woven in Iran. It has a long history and is famous for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most outstanding artistic crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug designs and materials used depending on the production area, there is a wide variety of rugs in Iran. These range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometrically patterned tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a Persian rug with its unique, one-of-a-kind charm into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily care (silk)
Vacuum the surface to remove dust along the pile. If you spill liquids, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel under the rug and gently blot with a firmly wrung-out towel dampened with water and a neutral detergent. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and hang it in a well-ventilated area to dry.
Important notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape, weaving, and dyeing. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
