This is a hand-woven wool and silk Persian rug, made in Iran (Persia).
This is a classic hand-woven Persian rug, perfect for placing in the living room or in front of the sofa. It's approximately 1.5 tatami mats in size, not too big and not too small, making it easy to match with your room's interior and suitable for placing under a dining table.
Gol pattern (floral pattern)
The Gol pattern is a common design seen in Persian rugs. It is used in various production areas such as Kerman, Isfahan, Kashan, Nain, and Qom. Various types of flowers are depicted, often including roses and traditional Persian designs such as Shah Abbasi flowers. In the Sarasarr pattern, the size of the flowers stands out, and small flowers may be arranged surrounding a ترنج pattern. It harmonizes with any room.
Sarasarr pattern (all-over pattern)
This pattern has no central point, with the design spread evenly throughout. It is popular in areas where part of the design might be hidden, such as under a table.
Heyvan pattern (animal motif)
Persian rug designs sometimes feature animals. These designs contain many cultural elements and symbols, with birds, lions, and deer appearing frequently. These animals hold special meaning within the rug and, due to their symbolism, become eye-catching and important elements. The animals depicted on the rug create a lively atmosphere, leaving a deep impression on viewers.
Enjoy a comfortable life with a unique, hand-woven Persian rug, a one-of-a-kind design.

Characteristics of the production area (Tabriz)
Tabriz is a city in northwestern Iran and a very famous and popular rug-producing region. It boasts a rich variety of designs and colors, and was once the capital of Iran during the Safavid dynasty. The oldest Tabriz rugs date back to 1500, and exports overseas began around 1900. Tabriz is home to many highly talented rug weavers, and silk and cotton are often used as base materials for the rugs. Wool and silk are mainly used for the pile, and its weaving is characterized by its very fine texture. The designs are also diverse, including beautiful medallion patterns, traditional Persian mahi designs, Ghombadi patterns inspired by mosque ceilings, popular floral patterns, and even pictorial designs. The color palette is also rich, with pastel shades often seen in rugs made of wool and silk. As such, Tabriz rugs are highly recommended due to their rich variety of designs and colors.
What is a Persian rug?
A Persian rug is a type of rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is known for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most excellent art crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Since the design and materials used vary by production area, there is a wide variety of rugs in Iran. They range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a Persian rug with its own unique charm, one of a kind, into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily care (Wool & Silk)
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile. If you notice stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, carefully wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
Important notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, or dyeing unevenness. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of a hand-woven piece.
