The designs in this series were conceived by designers from Iran (Persia), the home of authentic Persian rugs. While retaining the luxurious feel characteristic of Persian rugs, costs are kept down by weaving them with machines that possess techniques close to hand-weaving.
This rug is a finely woven piece, crafted using both machine and hand techniques. The surrounding frame and fringe areas are hand-woven, resulting in a more luxurious and carefully finished product.
