Characteristics of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of the spring sky," and is of the highest quality with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as a stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, etc. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically reduced production in recent years and its preciousness.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky-blue, the unique Persian blue, of natural Persian turquoise, which blends well with skin tones and is known as "the color of the spring sky."
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry each time before storing it to prevent the accumulation of everyday dirt.
Please remove it before bathing.
Notes
Since natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing them. Natural Iranian turquoise has high hardness and is resistant to discoloration, but in rare cases, the color of the stone may change.
