This is an original design unique to our store, crafted by the renowned Iranian engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri, an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty, taught at Tehran University of Art while creating jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its appeal. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved in gold, matching the stone's shape.

This stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, known for its hardness and vibrant, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While American Arizona turquoise is commonly imported to Japan, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its significantly decreased production and rarity in recent years.
