Features of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and is the highest quality stone with high hardness. In fact, this was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many American Arizona turquoise stones are brought into Japan, but natural Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its dwindling production in recent years, making it a precious commodity.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky-blue, Persian Blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring skies," which blends beautifully with all skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the item clean each time before storing it to prevent daily dirt accumulation.
Please remove it before bathing.
Important Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful not to let perfumes, sweat, or oily substances come into direct contact with the stone when wearing it. Natural Iranian turquoise has high hardness and is less prone to discoloration, but in rare cases, the color of the stone may change.
