Features of Natural Persian Firuzeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, giving rise to its name "turquoise," meaning "Turkish." Persian turquoise is known for its vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring skies," and is a high-quality, hard stone. In fact, it was the first stone humanity ever used as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, and Egypt, with varying qualities. While much of the turquoise brought into Japan comes from Arizona in the United States, the production of this Persian "Firuzeh (turquoise)" has drastically decreased in recent years, making it rare and less commonly introduced.
Enjoy the vivid, gentle sky-blue, Persian Blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring skies," which blends beautifully with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the item clean before storing it to prevent daily dirt accumulation.
Please remove it before bathing.
Precautions
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, oils, etc., when wearing. Natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, but in rare cases, the stone's color may change.
