Characteristics of Persian Natural Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was transported to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality, hard stone. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other countries. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing production in recent years, making it very precious.
Please enjoy the vivid, gentle sky-blue, Persian Blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, often called "the color of spring sky," which blends well with any skin tone.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the jewelry clean before storing it to prevent daily dirt from accumulating.
Please remove it before bathing.
Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, oils, etc., when wearing them. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and less prone to discoloration, the color of the stone may rarely change.
