This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While also lecturing at the University of Tehran's School of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the stone's appeal. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky blue, often called "the color of spring sky," and is a high-quality stone with high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality producing region, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing output in recent years, making it a valuable stone.
