This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a renowned Iranian engraver. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who served as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While also lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance the allure of the turquoise. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold to match its unique shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), traveled through Turkey to Europe, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky blue, often called "the color of spring skies," and is a high-quality stone with excellent hardness. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While American Arizona turquoise is often brought to Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" has become increasingly rare due to a sharp decline in production in recent years, so it is not widely introduced.
