This is an original, one-of-a-kind design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a renowned Iranian goldsmith. Leather Javaheri was a prominent goldsmith during the Pahlavi monarchy, serving as one of the royal family's jewelers. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, he created our jewelry from 1990 to 2007. His delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the stone's beauty. The back of each turquoise stone is individually chased with gold to match its unique shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was transported to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by its vibrant, deep sky-blue color, often described as "the color of spring skies," and its high hardness. In fact, this stone was the first ever used by humanity as an amulet for protection.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
