This is a one-of-a-kind original design by our store, created by the renowned Iranian engraver Mr. Javaheri. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the University of Fine Arts in Tehran, he crafted our store's jewelry from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance its appeal. The back of each turquoise is meticulously engraved in gold to match the stone's individual shape.

Features of Persian Natural Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry

This stone, originally mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, displaying a vivid, deep sky blue color often described as the "color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as an amulet for warding off evil.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this "Persian Blue" was also highly prized during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also found in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. While many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreasing production in recent years, making it very valuable.
