Features of Natural Persian Firuze (Turquoise) Jewelry
The stone originally mined in Persia (Iran) was brought to Europe via Turkey, which is how the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, characterized by a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of a spring sky," and high hardness. In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humankind as a protective amulet.
In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, America, are brought to Japan, but this Persian "firuze" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production and rarity in recent years.
Please enjoy the vivid and gentle sky-blue, Persian blue, unique to natural Persian turquoise, which is said to be "the color of a spring sky" and blends well with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping the item clean after each use to prevent the accumulation of daily dirt before storing it.
Please remove it before bathing.
Notes
As natural stones are used, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing the jewelry. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and less prone to discoloration, the color of the stone may occasionally change.
