Characteristics of Natural Persian Firoozeh (Turquoise) Jewelry
This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, giving rise to its name, meaning "Turkish." Persian turquoise is a vibrant, deep sky blue, often called "the color of spring skies," and is a high-quality, hard stone. In fact, it was the first stone used by humankind as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished by the royal family for many years, and this "Persian Blue" was also highly prized during the Victorian era. Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places, with varying qualities. While much turquoise imported into Japan comes from Arizona in the United States, the natural Persian "Firoozeh" (turquoise) is rarely introduced due to its rarity and drastically reduced production in recent years. Enjoy the distinct, vibrant, and gentle sky blue, known as Persian Blue, of natural Persian turquoise, which is often described as "the color of spring skies" and blends beautifully with skin tones.
Daily Care
We recommend wiping your jewelry after each use to prevent the accumulation of everyday dirt before storing it. Please remove it before bathing.
Important Notes
As this product uses natural stones, please be careful to avoid direct contact with perfumes, sweat, or oily substances when wearing it. While natural Iranian turquoise is highly durable and resistant to discoloration, the stone's color may rarely change.
