This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our shop by the famous Iranian master engraver, Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Leather Javaheri was a master engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhance its appeal. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

This stone, originally found in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality with high hardness, boasting a vibrant, deep sky blue color, often described as "the color of spring skies." In fact, it was the first stone ever used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it has long been cherished as the stone of the royal family, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other regions. While much American Arizona turquoise is brought into Japan, this Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its scarcity and significant decrease in production in recent years.
