This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Mr. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Fine Arts, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the stone's appeal. The back of each turquoise is individually engraved with gold to match the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), was brought to Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with a vivid, deep blue sky color often described as "the color of spring skies," and high hardness. In fact, this was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the stone of the royal family for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying qualities is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are imported into Japan, but this Persian "firuze (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production in recent years, making it very valuable.
