This is a one-of-a-kind original design from our store, crafted by Mr. Javaheri, a famous Iranian engraver. Leather Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate design, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise stone, further enhances its appeal. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

This stone, originally found in Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, and the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is a vivid, deep sky blue color, often called "the color of the spring sky," and is a high-quality, hard stone. In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as the royal family's stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best quality source, turquoise of varying quality is also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other regions. While much Arizona turquoise from America is brought to Japan, this Persian "Firuzeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its decreasing production and increasing rarity in recent years.
