This is a unique, original design from our shop, created by the renowned Iranian engraver Mr. Javaheri. Mr. Reza Javaheri was an engraver who worked as one of the royal family's jewelers during the Pahlavi dynasty. While lecturing at the Tehran University of Art, he created jewelry for our store from 1990 to 2007. The delicate designs, tailored to the unique characteristics of each turquoise, further enhance the stone's charm. The back of each turquoise stone is individually engraved with gold, matching the stone's shape.

This stone, mined in ancient Persia (Iran), reached Europe via Turkey, which is how the word "Turkish" became the origin of its name. Persian turquoise is of the highest quality, with high hardness, and boasts a vivid, deep sky-blue color, often called "the color of the spring sky." In fact, it was the first stone used by humanity as a protective amulet.

In Persia, it was cherished as a royal family stone for many years, and this Persian blue was also highly valued during the Victorian era.
Besides Iran, the best source of turquoise, stones of varying quality are also produced in Australia, America, China, Egypt, and other places. Many turquoise stones from Arizona, USA, are imported into Japan, but Persian "Firoozeh (turquoise)" is rarely introduced due to its drastically decreased production in recent years, making it very precious.
