Characteristics of Hand-woven Persian Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs woven by the Qashqai nomads of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using plant-dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant feel due to its high lanolin content, which helps regulate body temperature.
The Gabbeh, hand-woven thread by thread by Iranian nomads after dyeing the wool with natural dyes, are characterized by their soft and fluffy texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from the extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and breathable in summer, preventing discomfort from heat.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven products.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may be present.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed for shipping

The pom-poms located at the corners and middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before shipment.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
