Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai people, nomadic tribes in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, who hand-weave them using plant-dyed wool. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
