This is a hand-woven Persian silk rug, made in Iran (Persia).
It's a classic hand-woven Persian rug, perfect for placing in a living room or in front of a sofa. It's approximately 1.5 tatami mats in size, neither too big nor too small, making it easy to match with your room's interior and ideal for placing under a dining table.
Tranj (Medallion) Pattern
The main characteristic of the popular and traditional Tranj pattern is a circular or oval design placed in the center of the rug. Symmetrical patterns and decorations spread around it, creating a beautiful design. Tranj pattern rugs suit any room, and are especially recommended for placement in front of a living room sofa or as a centerpiece in a room.

Characteristics of the Origin (Qom)
Qom is a region so famous for silk rugs that it's practically synonymous with them. It produces the finest rugs in Iran. Qom is located in northern Iran. They use silk and very high-quality soft wool. The designs are also very rich. Various colors are used very skillfully, with pastel colors, soft colors, and ivory being particularly common. Most rugs are considered works of art, bearing the signature of the workshop.
What is a Persian Rug?
A Persian rug is a rug woven in Iran. It has a long history and is famous for its beauty and durability, lasting for generations. It is one of the most outstanding art crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug designs and materials used depending on the region of origin, Iran has a wide variety of rugs. They range from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple, geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian ethnic groups. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color schemes of Persian rugs have a unique appeal. By incorporating a unique Persian rug, one of a kind in the world, into your room, you can further enhance its ambiance.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum up any dust on the surface along the nap. If you spill liquids, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel under the rug, and using water and a neutral detergent, gently dab the area with a tightly wrung towel. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and dry in a well-ventilated area.
Points to Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape, weaving, or dyeing. Please enjoy these as part of the charm of a hand-woven piece.
