Features of Persian Hand-knotted Gabbeh Rugs Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-knotted rugs made from vegetable-dyed wool by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadically inhabit the Zagros Mountains in Iran, deeply rooted in their way of life. The "Persian Valiant" wool used in this product has excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to effectively regulate body temperature, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture. These Gabbehs, made by Iranian nomads who carefully dye this wool with natural dyes and hand-knot each thread, are characterized by their fluffy and comfortable feel.
