The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a high fat content, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture that helps regulate body temperature.
Gabbeh rugs, made from this wool dyed with natural dyes and meticulously hand-woven by Iranian nomads, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and cool and breathable in summer, preventing heat buildup.
And above all, there is their artistry. Gabbeh, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
