Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize the Zagros Mountains in Iran, and are hand-woven using naturally dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high fat content that effectively regulates body temperature.
These Gabbeh, hand-woven by Iranian nomads using naturally dyed wool, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant texture. Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Gabbeh, born from the drastic temperature differences between day and night, also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And above all, there's their artistry. Gabbeh, created from the nomads' imaginations, often feature animal and plant designs, making each one a unique original piece with no two alike.

Daily Care
Remove dust and dirt by vacuuming or sweeping along the direction of the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel firmly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, and dyeing irregularities. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique smell from the dye used on the wool.
This smell will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping
The pom-poms on the corners or in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed and shipped without them, if requested.
Removing the pom-poms will not adversely affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
