It's the perfect size for an entryway mat, brightening up the space you walk through every day.
Beyond the entryway, its versatile size makes it easy to place in empty spots like in front of the vanity, on a balcony, or beside the bed.
It features a soft, fluffy texture that feels pleasant to the touch and can be used all year round.
As a unique, hand-woven piece, enjoy a one-of-a-kind design.
This Gabbeh is woven with fine threads, and because of the extra effort involved in weaving, it is a "Liezbaf Gabbeh" with less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh.
"Liez" means "fine" in Persian, and "baf" means "weave".

Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile carpets rooted in the nomadic life of the Qashqai tribe in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, hand-woven using naturally dyed wool. The Persian variant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with high oil content for effective body temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh, hand-woven by Iranian nomads by meticulously dyeing this wool with natural dyes, strand by strand, is characterized by its fluffy and pleasant feel.
A well-woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also has the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated in summer, preventing heat retention.
And, above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh rugs, imagined and created by nomads, often feature animal and plant designs, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but are also beautiful enough to be displayed on walls as art.
Why not find your own special Gabbeh that you can cherish for a long time?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
If cleaning is needed: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape and pattern, as well as weaving and dyeing variations. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Also, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique scent from the wool dye may be present.
This scent will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
