This is a common size for Japanese entrance mats. It will brighten up your entrance, which you pass through every day. In addition to entrances, this size is also easy to lay in empty spaces such as in front of sinks, on balconies, or by the bedside. This Gabbeh is woven with thin threads, and because it takes more effort to weave, it is a Luri-Baft Gabbeh with less thickness and a tighter weave than regular Gabbeh. "Luri" means "fine" in Persian, and "Baft" means "weave."

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile. If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with water to remove detergent, then dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Points to Note

Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool may be present.
