What are Persian Rugs?
Persian rugs are carpets woven in Iran. They have a long history and are renowned for their beauty and durability, lasting for generations. They are one of the most excellent art crafts representing Iranian culture and art. Due to differences in rug designs and materials used depending on the production area, there is a wide variety of rugs in Iran. This ranges from delicate and intricate designs woven in workshops to simple geometric tribal rugs woven by Iranian nomadic peoples. The main materials used are wool and silk. The beautiful designs and delicate color palettes of Persian rugs possess a unique charm. By incorporating a Persian rug, a one-of-a-kind item with its own unique charm, into your room, you can further enhance its atmosphere.
Daily Care (Silk)
Vacuum the dust from the surface along the nap. If you spill liquids, first absorb the moisture with an absorbent material (such as paper towels or tissues). Then, place a dry towel under the rug and use water and a neutral detergent to gently dab and wipe the area with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Finally, remove as much moisture as possible with an absorbent material and dry the rug in a well-ventilated area.
Important Notes
As these are hand-woven, there may be slight distortions in shape, weaving irregularities, or dyeing inconsistencies. Please enjoy these as part of the unique charm of hand-woven items.
