Gabbeh are long-pile rugs made from plant-dyed wool, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe who are nomadic in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, and are deeply rooted in their way of life. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust by vacuuming or sweeping along the nap of the rug.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, and let it dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
