Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe, who are nomads in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Valiant wool used in this product possesses excellent durability, necessary for survival in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture with a high oil content for effective thermoregulation.
Gabbeh woven by Iranian nomads, meticulously hand-dyeing this wool with natural dyes strand by strand, are characterized by their plush and comfortable feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting outstanding durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing heat retention.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh created from the nomads' imagination often feature designs of animals and plants, making each one a unique, original piece.
They can be laid on the floor, of course, but also displayed as art on walls.

Daily Care
Remove dust and dirt with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Afterward, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, then dry in a well-ventilventilated shade.
Important Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving irregularities, dye variations, etc. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. As a result, there may be a distinctive odor from the dyes used on the wool.
Please note that the odor will gradually dissipate with use.
Pom-poms can be removed before shipping.

The pom-poms located at the corners and in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed upon request before delivery.
Removing the pom-poms will not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
