Features of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-piled rugs woven by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using wool dyed with natural plant dyes, and are deeply rooted in their daily lives. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing it to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and a soft, pleasant texture containing a lot of oil to regulate body temperature effectively.
Gabbeh, made by nomads in Iran who dye this wool with natural dyes and meticulously hand-weave each strand, are characterized by their plush and pleasant texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last 100 years, making them extremely durable.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and not feeling hot in summer.

Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
Notes
Due to being hand-woven, there may be irregularities in shape and pattern, weaving unevenness, and dye unevenness. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique smell from the dyes used on the wool.
The smell will gradually disappear with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
