Characteristics of Persian Hand-Woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the daily lives of the Qashqai nomads, who hand-weave them from vegetable-dyed wool in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing the sheep to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a lot of oil to regulate body temperature, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.
These Gabbeh rugs, woven by Iranian nomads strand by strand from wool dyed with natural dyes, are characterized by their fluffy and pleasant feel.
Well-woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability.
Born from the extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh are also warm in winter and breathable in summer, preventing feelings of heat.
And, above all, their artistry. Gabbeh created from the nomads' imagination often feature animal and plant designs, and each piece is a unique, one-of-a-kind item with no two alike.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed on a wall as art.
Gabbeh are rugs that you can use for a long time; why not find your own special Gabbeh?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.

Please Note
Due to being hand-woven, there may be distortions in shape or pattern, weaving irregularities, or dye unevenness. Please consider these as part of the charm of hand-weaving.
Also, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, a unique odor from the dye used on the wool may occur.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
