Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are long-pile rugs, hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of the Zagros Mountains in Iran, using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product is known for its excellent durability, allowing it to withstand the harsh conditions of the Zagros Mountains, and its soft, pleasant texture, rich in natural oils, which helps with temperature regulation.
The wool is dyed with natural dyes and hand-woven meticulously by Iranian nomads, resulting in a fluffy and comfortable texture.
Well-woven Gabbeh are highly durable, said to last for 100 years.
Originating from a climate with extreme day-night temperature differences, Gabbeh are warm in winter and breathable in summer, offering a cool sensation.
And above all, there is its artistry. Gabbeh, created from the imagination of nomads, often feature animal and plant designs, making each one a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even displayed as art on a wall.
Gabbeh are meant to be used for a long time. Why not find your own special Gabbeh?
Daily Care
Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.

Important Notes
As these are hand-woven, there may be slight irregularities in shape or pattern, weaving inconsistencies, and uneven dyeing. Please understand that these are part of the charm of hand-woven items.
Additionally, Gabbeh are woven from sheep's wool. Therefore, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used to color the wool.
The odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.
