A tightly woven Gabbeh is said to last for 100 years, boasting exceptional durability. Created in a climate with large temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and well-ventilated in summer, preventing feelings of heat. And above all, there is its artistic quality. Gabbeh created from the imagination of nomads often feature animal and plant designs, and each piece is a unique original, with no two being exactly alike. They can, of course, be laid on the floor, but are also artistic enough to be hung on walls. Gabbeh are meant to be used for a long time; why not find your own special Gabbeh?
