Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom, following the direction of the pile.
For stubborn dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a well-wrung towel. Afterward, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent residue, then air dry in a well-ventilated shade.

Important Notes

Due to being hand-woven, there may be variations in shape, pattern distortion, weaving irregularities, and dyeing inconsistencies. Please understand that these are part of the charm of a hand-woven item.
Additionally, Gabbeh rugs are woven from sheep's wool. Consequently, there may be a unique odor from the dyes used on the wool.
This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this beforehand.

Pom-poms can be removed before shipping.

The pom-poms located at the corners or in the middle of the Gabbeh can be removed and shipped without them if requested.
Removing the pom-poms does not negatively affect the quality or durability of the Gabbeh.
