Characteristics of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs deeply rooted in the lives of the Qashqai nomadic tribe who hand-weave them in the Zagros Mountains of Iran using vegetable-dyed wool. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, allowing it to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a high amount of oil to regulate body temperature, resulting in a soft and pleasant texture.
The Gabbeh rugs, hand-woven by Iranian nomads strand by strand using this natural-dyed wool, are characterized by their plush and pleasant feel.
Strongly woven Gabbeh are said to last for 100 years, indicating their exceptional durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also have the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy in summer, preventing a feeling of heat.
And above all, there is its artistic quality. Gabbeh rugs created from the imagination of nomads often feature designs of animals and plants, with each piece being a unique, one-of-a-kind original.
They can be laid on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
Why not find a special Gabbeh that you can cherish and use for a long time?

This odor will gradually dissipate with use, but please be aware of this in advance.
