Features of Persian Hand-woven Gabbeh
Gabbeh are hand-woven rugs with long piles made from vegetable-dyed wool by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. The Persian Variant wool used in this product has excellent durability, developed to survive the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains, and contains a high amount of lanolin, resulting in a soft and pleasant feel for effective body temperature regulation.
The Gabbeh, woven by Iranian nomads one strand at a time using natural dyes, is characterized by its plush and comfortable texture.
A tightly woven Gabbeh is said to last 100 years, boasting superior durability.
Born from a climate with extreme temperature differences between day and night, Gabbeh also has the characteristic of being warm in winter and airy and non-hot in summer.

It can be placed on the floor or even hung on a wall as art.
