Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, nomadic people who roam the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. Daily Care

Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, and gently wipe the surface with a tightly wrung towel or similar. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
