Gabbeh rugs are long-pile, hand-woven rugs made by the Qashqai tribe, who nomadize in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, using plant-dyed wool deeply rooted in their daily lives. The "Persian Variant" wool used in this product is soft and pleasant to the touch, containing a lot of oil to help with temperature regulation and excellent durability to survive in the harsh environment of the Zagros Mountains. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the direction of the pile. If you notice dirt: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, wipe thoroughly with a damp cloth to remove any detergent, and let it dry in a well-ventilated shaded area.
