Gabbeh rugs are long-pile rugs made from vegetable-dyed wool, hand-woven by the Qashqai tribe who are nomadic in the Zagros Mountains of Iran, deeply rooted in their daily lives. Daily Care

Remove dirt and dust with a vacuum cleaner or broom along the pile.
If concerned about stains: Dilute a neutral detergent (for wool/silk) with water, wring out a towel tightly, and gently wipe the surface. Then, thoroughly wipe with a damp cloth to remove the detergent, and dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
